to Shenyang. Met by Vice
Magistrate of Shenhe District Ms. Li Mizhi, Executive Director of
IEIBA
Shenyang Office at the Airport. Night city tour and visit to IEIBA
Office.
Transfer to Marriott Hotel then for a late dinner.
Big group in Beijing visited the Great Wall.
While 9 delegates in Shenyang met with Mr. Sun Xiangjian, Vice
Mayor and Mr. Ju Xiuli, Magistrate of Shenhe District. Opening
ceremony followed by the business talk with 150 Chinese business
leaders. 9 delegates flow to Beijing to join the big group for
the banquet by Mr. Mei Hongyuan, Director of Beijing Municipal
Administrative Office. |

to Xi'an, the ancient
capital of 11 dynasties. Afternoon sightseeing includes Big Wild
Goose Pagoda
and the ancient City Gate. 5 people including Mr. Jerry Dupois,
Mayor Pro-Tem
of Ontario, Mr. Tom Campell, General Manager of UPS to Ontario,
and Mr. Rod
Ballance, Director of Inland Empire International World Trade Center
had a
presentation with UPS Office to Beijing while 9 people group visited
the
IEIBA office on the 6th floor of Jingtai Mansion at Jianwai Ave.
and talked
with Ms. Zhang Yi, Executive Director of IEIBA Beijing Office. 2
small groups
flow by the afternoon flight to Xi'an to join the big group for
the banquet
by Mr. Lu Xiangguo, Governor Assistant of Shaanxi Province and evening
entertainment show in Tang Dynasty style.
Tour bus excursion to the Terra-Cotta Warriors,
guarding the tomb of the
First Emperor of Qin Dynasty back to 2,200 years ago. Visited Banpo
Museum,
an archeological site of the pre-historical men. Late afternoon
flight
18:30/20:20 to Guilin, world famous for its dramatic karst landscape.
Visit
to Reed Flute Cave, Fantastic stalactite and stalagmite formations
artfully
illuminated. Sightseeing also covers Elephant Hill and Fubo Hill.
Lyrical four-hour boat cruise on the Lijiang
River, revealing the beauty of
lush green valleys, bamboo groves and hundreds of fairylike rock
formations.
Disembark in Yangshuo to see a colorful local market. Evening banquet
by Mr.
Chen Jianjun, Vice Mayor.
9 delegates took morning flight to Guangzhou
for the opening ceremony of
IEIBA Guangzhou Office at Garden Hotel. Presentation at American
Consulate
General by Ms. Gwen Lyle, Commercial Consul. Ribbon cutting by Mr.

flight
to Shanghai, the largest city and most important industrial and
commercial
center of China.
People in the big group made the choice either
joint the tour to the Jade
Buddha Temple and the Arts & Crafts Institute or enjoy a leisurely
strolling
along the prosperous streets of this metropolitan city. Some found
the Hard
Rock Cafe to taste a little bit home flavor on your own. 9 delegates

Shanghai Office joined the opening ceremony of IEIBA Shanghai Office

Economic cooperation. Inspection to the Hongkou District People's
Government
for the redevelopment project. Banquet by Mr. Hu, Vice Director

Municipal Business Delegation led by Ms. Quan Weimin, Executive

IEIBA Office to Hangzhou.
Visit the Pudong Economic Development Zone. Departure
by the afternoon flight
